Daniel Arsham x Team Ikuzawa
This weekend at the Goodwood Revival, contemporary art and motorsport heritage come together in a remarkable collaboration between Daniel Arsham and Team Ikuzawa. The duo will debut a bespoke-livery Porsche 904 and an exclusive capsule collection, blending the minimalist branding of 1980s Team Ikuzawa with lunar and solar motifs—symbolic elements from both Arsham’s and Tetsu Ikuzawa's creative worlds.
The Porsche 904, powered by JOTA Sport and owned by motorsport heavyweight David Clark, will be driven by racing legends Emanuele Pirro and his son Goffredo. This partnership underscores the deep ties both Arsham and the Ikuzawa family have with Porsche. Tetsu Ikuzawa, the first Japanese Porsche factory driver, became a national hero after his 1967 Japan Grand Prix win in a Porsche 906, and his legacy continues at Goodwood through this unique collaboration.
In addition to the bespoke Porsche 904, visitors to Goodwood can explore a special paddock area, featuring an exclusive capsule collection that merges Team Ikuzawa's Japanese motorsport heritage with Arsham's visionary art. The collection includes a white denim varsity jacket, hoodie, T-shirt, and other limited-edition items, all reflecting a reimagined take on heritage.
This collaboration is more than just a celebration of the past; it’s a bold statement about the future of art, fashion, and motorsport. Don't miss this creative fusion at the Goodwood Revival.
