BMW celebrates 50 at Sebring

This year marks the 73rd edition of the Twelve Hours of Sebring in Florida, and it's a special one for BMW North America as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. The journey began in 1975 with a landmark victory for the BMW 3.0 CSL at Sebring, marking the brand's first major sports car win in the USA.

To honour this milestone, BMW will showcase two BMW M Hybrid V8s with a unique anniversary livery at the event. This livery highlights key moments from 1975 to the present, integrated within the iconic Sebring track silhouette.

Jochen Neerpasch, co-founder and first managing director of BMW Motorsport GmbH, and Brian Redman, the 1975 Sebring winner, will be present to celebrate this historic occasion. The special liveries will continue to feature throughout the IWSC season, paying tribute to half a century of BMW's motorsport legacy in North America.
