Return of the Silhouette
Following the EVO37, Kimera Automobili introduced the EVO38 at the 2023 Geneva Motor Show. This model honoured the legacy of Lancia’s Group B rally cars from the early 1980s, boasting four-wheel drive and updated aesthetics. The EVO38’s 38 units were also swiftly allocated to enthusiasts worldwide.
Kimera's latest creation, the K39, continues this legacy. Set to compete in the iconic Pikes Peak race in 2025, the K39 is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Lancia Martini Racing ‘Silhouette’ from the late 1970s and early 1980s. This racing car features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis and bodywork designed for optimal aerodynamic efficiency, developed through extensive virtual wind tunnel testing.
The Pikes Peak is a gruelling hill climb that tests the limits of performance and endurance. Many renowned manufacturers have attempted to conquer this ascent, but Kimera will stay true to its analogue, mechanical, and human approach, despite the challenges posed by the thin air at high altitudes.
Kimera Automobili plans to offer a limited customer version of the K39 for passionate collectors. This iconic car promises unmatched style, performance, and driving pleasure. As the K39 races towards the clouds, it will embody the dreams and passions of its creators and drivers alike.
