Benedict Radcliffe x INK

London-based sculpture artist Benedict Radcliffe has revealed his latest automotive masterpiece: a series of wireframe sculptures inspired by the legendary Porsche 959. Known for his distinctive style, Radcliffe’s creations bring iconic vehicles to life through meticulously welded steel tubes.

Each sculpture begins with 3D data, used to craft a life-sized model before being transformed into limited-edition desktop versions. These smaller-scale models retain the same precision and artistry that Radcliffe’s work is celebrated for.

This new addition joins Radcliffe’s acclaimed portfolio, which includes wireframe renditions of the Ferrari F40, Porsche 930, Lamborghini Countach, Lancia Delta and even a classic London taxi. The Porsche 959, an icon of 1980s automotive innovation, is a fitting subject. As the fastest road-legal production car of its time, it remains a symbol of cutting-edge engineering. With 2025 marking its 40th anniversary, Radcliffe’s sculptures pay homage to its enduring legacy.

To unveil the series, Radcliffe collaborated with creative studio INK on a striking reveal animation. The visual journey showcases the sculptures’ construction, with glowing steel tubes coming together to form the 959’s unmistakable shape. This dynamic presentation highlights Radcliffe’s craftsmanship and the innovative approach of INK.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to precision, artistry, and timeless design, cementing Radcliffe’s reputation as a pioneer in the world of automotive sculpture.
