Porsche x Almond Surfboards

In 1963, Porsche introduced the very first 911, a sports car that would go on to become a global symbol of style, precision, and innovation. Around the same time, surfing was making waves along the Southern California coast, growing into a cultural phenomenon.

Driving a classic Porsche 911 on the open road and riding a single-fin surfboard on the ocean share a kindred spirit. Both activities require focus, patience, and a love for craftsmanship. This shared ethos is celebrated in the Porsche x Almond Surfboards collaboration, which brings together the legacy of two enduring passions, each infused with a touch of salty sea air.

Almond Surfboards, founded in 2007 and based in Southern California, has become synonymous with bespoke, hand-crafted surfboards. This partnership with Porsche takes that reputation to new heights. Each surfboard in the Porsche x Almond collection is custom-made and individually numbered, reflecting the high standards of craftsmanship that both brands are known for.

Surf and Porsche enthusiasts alike can choose between two distinctive boards: the “Surf Thumps” longboard or the mid-sized “Cash-Yew” glider. The boards are available in four striking designs, including three iconic Porsche 911 paint colours from the 1960s – Irish Green, Polo Red, and Bahama Yellow – or the legendary “Pink Pig” livery from Porsche’s 1971 racing history. For an added personal touch, customers can select their preferred racing number, ensuring each board is truly unique.
