The seventh edition of the Rennsport Reunion in California, gathered over 90,000 enthusiastic fans to celebrate Porsche's rich motorsport legacy. This four-day festival set new standards, boasting over 300 racing cars and iconic figures from Porsche's racing history.
Highlights of this remarkable event included the world premiere of the Porsche 911 GT3 R rennsport, captivating demo laps featuring the hybrid prototype Porsche 963 and the fully electric GT4 e-Performance. The event's race program spanned the spectrum, featuring both modern and historic racing cars, and even a dash of tractor racing.
Attendees were treated to the thrilling sight of historic and contemporary racing cars taking on the famous Corkscrew on the track. The event offered a diverse lineup, including presentations, technology workshops, autograph sessions with Porsche legends, live music concerts, and the presence of colossal Transformers robots.
Since its inception in 2001, the Rennsport Reunion has consistently celebrated Porsche's illustrious motorsport heritage. This year's edition was no different, as legendary racing cars stole the spotlight on the iconic Laguna Seca stage.
Over 300 cars, representing various classes, graced the track, ranging from the graceful Bergspyder to the formidable Porsche 917/30 from the 1973 CanAm season and the groundbreaking Le Mans-winning 919 Hybrid. The event even featured thrilling Porsche tractor races, with works drivers such as Felipe Nasr, Matt Campbell, Nick Tandy, Patrick Long, and Jörg Bergmeister demonstrating their skills on these historic tractors, creating moments of both intensity and relaxation.
