Larbre's Corvette Art Car for Le Mans
In just over a weeks time Larbre Competition will compete at the Le Mans 24 Hours for the 24th time. Since 1993, the team has entered 42 cars from marques such as Porsche, Dodge, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Panoz Ford and Corvette, securing five class victories and several podiums.
For its 24th time of entering the race, the team has boldly decided to commission an Art Car. Ramzi Adek, who first made his mark as a street-artist around Paris, has been given ‘carte blanche’ by the team to design the livery for it's iconic Larbre Competition #50 Corvette which will compete at Le Mans.
Interested by the human and sporting aspect of this project, Ramzi used his inspiration and creativity to promote the team. The design is totally original and will be completely transformed during the night. His objective? To create a car for the three ‘super hero’ drivers to further enhance their performance. As such, his painting acts as a super power, giving a positive and powerful image to scare their opponents. The fluorescence beautifully underlines the super hero identity at night, with each drawing symbolising power, confirming the Corvette as a feared opponent.
