Unleashing the Supercat
TWR has officially unveiled the Supercat, a bold reimagining of the Jaguar XJS as a cutting-edge Super-GT. First previewed earlier in the year, the Supercat has already captured attention with its innovative engineering and striking design, earning praise from enthusiasts and experts alike.
Under the guidance of TWR director Fergus Walkinshaw, the Supercat builds on TWR’s illustrious motorsport heritage, incorporating design cues from iconic Jaguars like the XJR-9 and XJ220. The car boasts a supercharged V12 engine producing 660bhp, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, delivering an exhilarating analogue driving experience.
Designed for both road and track, the Supercat combines dynamic performance with long-distance comfort. Advanced suspension, carbon-fibre bodywork, and aerodynamic innovations enhance agility and stability, while a revamped interior offers modern conveniences such as Apple CarPlay and bespoke carbon fibre-backed seats. Practical features, including expanded luggage space, ensure it remains a true Grand Tourer.
Styled by acclaimed designer Khyzyl Saleem with input from Magnus Walker, the Supercat blends the Jaguar XJS’ timeless elegance with aggressive, contemporary aesthetics. Its design, validated by F1-grade aerodynamic expertise, ensures both striking looks and exceptional performance.
