Senna Now
Unveiled at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, ‘Senna Now’ is the brain child of Italian fashion designer Matteo Macchiavelli, a life-long fan of the Brazilian Formula 1 legend, Ayrton Senna. One side of the former McLaren chassis is made up of three of Senna’s most iconic liveries – the John Player Special colours of Lotus, the Marlboro liveried McLaren and finally Rothmans from Williams, his final car.
The other side of the car has been handed over to Jean-Baptiste Launay, better known as Jisbar, a French pop-street artist, who has taken inspiration from the life and career of the three-time world champion.
After being displayed at the Ayrton Senna museum for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the car is expected to appear at the Miami and Monaco Grand Prix’s, as well as other art events in Venice and Miami later in the year. Then the car will be auctioned, with some of the proceeds going towards the Ayrton Senna foundation.
