Ligier x Nairone Defives

Back in June 2019 artist Nairone Defives was invited by legendary French motor racing team Ligier to design an art car during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Nairone, armed with his black brush, began painting at 3:00 pm on Saturday 15th June at the start of the 24 hours race. He had 24 hours, no more, to paint the art car celebrating Ligier’s 50 years as a racing car constructor, something which had been attempted before.

Nairone has worked with brands such as Adidas, Vans, Puma, Lacoste, Paris Saint Germain, Sennheiser and many more. He’s also completed murals and exhibitions in Paris, London, San Francisco, Brussels and Los Angeles.
