Lamborghini's retro poster series
The original Lamborghini Countach was the bedroom poster star of the 1980’s. Now, with the introduction of the new Countach LPI 800-4, 50 years on from the archetypal wedge-shaped supercar, the Italian manufacturer has commemorated the occasion with a series of five posters.
The love for the Countach’s timeless lines reinterpreted in this collection emphasises how image alone can stimulate creativity. The five posters have been produced by a group of artists and illustrators specialising in 3D and digital design.
The contributing designers, from around the world, each bring a particular dimension and interpretation of the new Countach. Omar Aqil, a Pakistani 3D illustrator and CGI artist, Yegor Zhuldybin, a young Russian creator specialising in surreal digital collages, Shy.Studio, an independent motion graphics studio specialising in 3D animations and still life, Andreas Wannerstedt, a Swedish artist known for his 3D works featuring hypnotic looped animations and LRNZ (Lorenzo Ceccotti), a graphic designer, motion graphics creator, animator and illustrator.
