Abarth + Guy Allen
Abarth has commissioned six exclusive pieces of art to celebrate the brand’s 70th anniversary. The limited edition prints have been created by graphic designer and illustrator Guy Allen and portray some of the past and present models from the Abarth range.
A selection of cars from the last 70 years of the brand feature in the artwork; from the current Abarth 595 to the record breaking 1957 Fiat-Abarth 1000 Monoposto, while the brand’s racing heritage can clearly be seen in the 1972 124 rally and classic Fiat-Abarth 595.
One piece stands as a halo for the brand, a single work of art that commemorates the rich heritage with the 500, 1000 TC, 850, 2000 Sport Spider, Simca, 131, X1/9, Grande Punto and the 1958 Fiat Abarth 500 record Pininfarina.
Guy Allen is best known for his automotive artwork and has worked with numerous car brands and museums. His distinctive style will be instantly recognisable to fans of Octane Magazine and the Petersen Automotive Museum.
Only 100 prints of each design have been produced, all individually numbered and signed by Guy. This exclusive collection will be on display on the Abarth stand at this weekend’s Silverstone Classic, where visitors can collect a commemorative postcard set. Throughout August, the official Abarth social channels will also be running competitions to win one of the original prints from the collection.
