The Photography of Eric Otto
Eric Otto is a French artist and photographer who uses model cars as his subjects and the real world as their backdrop. It all started when he found a model of Charles de Gaulle’s state limousine in a toy shop window. He took that model and photographed in the road. The result looked so realistic that friends asked how he had managed to get his hands on that car as the original was in a museum. And so the idea was born.
Back to today and Otto has taken pictures in Paris, New York, London, Berlin – and many times in Hamburg, his native city, always taking his prized models with him wherever he goes. To see more of his work, click on the link below. Photos: ©Eric Otto.
