Hasselblad and Koenigsegg team up in Nevada
Koenigsegg recently took a trip to Nevada, USA, where they broke 5 world speed records with the Agera RS. Their Swedish compatriots from Hasselblad decided to tag along for the ride, testing out their latest flagship 100-megapixel medium format camera.
Toshi Oku was the photographer brought in to shoot the Agera RS in Nevada. His images are breathtaking black and whites, a format normally reserved for documentary photography and entirely fitting for such a newsworthy, record-setting occasion. The dramatic nature of the image’s subject is perfectly set within this high-contrast, moody format.
This is not the first collaboration between Koenigsegg and Hasselblad – Ming Thein photographed both the Regera and Agera RS earlier in 2017.
