Looking back at Luftgekühlt 4

In the Porsche vernacular, Luftgekühlt represents all the air-cooled cars in the manufacturer’s history, from the 356 through to the 993 model range, which ended in 1998. The Luftgekühlt brand is the brainchild of two-time Le Mans class winner Patrick Long and designer Howie Idelson. The experiential car culture event is centred around a tightly curated list of historically significant and interesting cars, both from the road and racetrack.

Back in May, Luftgekühlt 4 took place in San Pedro, California. Above are a selection of images that really capture the spirit of the event. Photos by Theodor Barth and Linhbergh Nguyen.
