Shades of Kowalski
Shades of Kowalski and 'Vanishing Point' may come to mind when you see this 1970 Challenger. Introduced in late 1969 for the 1970 model year, the Challenger was seen as Dodge's answer to the Mustang and Camaro. It was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. The Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels and were intended to compete against the aforementioned muscle cars, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory.
Mecum Auctions will be offering this example at their upcoming Chicago auction between the 6-8th October. For more information on this and other vehicles at the sale, click on the link below. Photos: Jeremy Cliff, Courtesy of Mecum Auctions.
