Indianapolis Motor Speedway by Sean Klingelhoefer

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the United States, is the home of the Indianapolis 500. Constructed in 1909, it is the original speedway, the first racing circuit so named. On Indy 500 race day it can seat almost half a million race fans making it the highest-capacity sports venue in the world. Photographer Sean Klingelhoefer has captured the shear scale of this historic venue in these beautifully atmospheric shots.
